Project 02 · Girls & women
Dignity & Opportunity
Pads, dignity kits, a private latrine, health education and a women's tailoring cooperative.

The problem
A girl should not have to choose between her period and her class.
Without pads, a private place to change or accurate information, menstruation becomes a week of absence every month — and, too often, a reason to drop out.
The latrine was built. The pads, the health sessions and the women's income still have to be funded every year.
What this project funds
Pads for every girl and the things around it.

The meter is updated from the school's records. A goal is shown only when the school committee has signed the quotation.
How we will verify it
What a donor can ask to see.
Verification is a habit of keeping paper, not a paragraph in a proposal.
- Distribution records signed by the head teacher. Date, quantity and class — never a child's name published.
- Attendance before and after. The point of the project is fewer missed school days.
- Photographs of the facilities, not the girls. The latrine can be shown without identifying a child.
- Receipts for every purchase. Kept at the school and available to the committee.
Timeline
From the first class to 2026.
Dates are recorded where they matter. The next phase is not dated until it is funded.
The latrine is built
A private block with washing water and a changing space.
Women's groups begin
Savings groups and the first tailoring training.
Pads and income
The supply continues; the cooperative needs machines and a market.
Sustainability
What happens when the grant ends?
The latrine is a one-time cost. Dignity is not. Pads and health sessions have to be funded every year, and the tailoring cooperative needs working capital before it can pay for itself.
The Dignity Circle is a group of monthly donors who cover the pad supply and the health sessions. Their gifts are the reason a girl can plan on being in class next month.
Fund this project
Join the Dignity Circle.
A monthly gift keeps pads in the school and health sessions on the calendar. A capital gift equips the tailoring cooperative. Both are useful; the recurring gift is what the project can plan around.
